Give me the link and I'll let you know, mate.

Usually all amp mods are just component value changes, or additions. So, for me they're easy, as I do it all for a living, but not always something that just anyone can attempt.

Yep that's easy to do...

What do you need help with exactly?

Bearing in mind though, that you should really get an amp tech to do them all.

That's a pretty ambiguous question Mitch.

Can you be more specific, with regards to which particular mod you're attempting? By your logic, I could tell you to watch out for retarded wilderbeast roaming through your living room whilst unscrewing the panel from your amp.

Yeah I heard about that, you gotta piss in his eyes if you wanted to get rid of him. Though that's just what I've heard through the grapevine.
you can call me Phil if you want to

and the knot in the back adds caractor...i even have a proper Shamalama Ding Dong custom here with 4 knots on the front that will also blow any other custom guitar away for the purpose its been made for..

When doing the "Risk Matrix" courses at work I always roll out the ole ASTEROID THROUGH THE ROOF and then demand a FORCE FIELD to be built before I do anything.
Can't be too safe you know. ;)

Isolation is the key word there Scott...

Be it, electrical isolation, or asteroid isolation.

Mitch, I can really only suggest that you take your amp to an amp tech to do it. Those mods don't seem to be around the dangerous voltages specifically, but that's not the issue. Capacitors are just as dangerous in the lower voltages as they store massive charges and instantaneously discharge through you, or through you to other components while you're poking around with a screwdriver and soldering iron.

What you might not realise is that you need to make the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) totally rid of any residual charge. If you have to modify resistors, they may be tied into capacitors. I would prefer not to teach you how to discharge capacitors, and that goes for anyone on this forum too, not just yourself. They can be dangerous, even the little ones.

yeh best to get it to a tech, the most PCB experience ive had is making a circuit to get a LED to flash at various rates etc.
